Near the beginning of the year, I started a daily devotional called, Every Day for Everyone: 365 Devotions from Genesis to Revelation
by John Goldingay and N.T. Wright. I am still working through this daily devotional for the year. As I finished the Old Testament readings by John Goldingay, I was so struck by how he understood and could explain the Old Testament. I decided that I wanted to better understand the book of Isaiah and so I picked up this book, Isaiah for Everyone (Old Testament for Everyone), by John Goldingay. I would highly recommend this book and I plan to study more of the Old Testament from this Biblical Hebrew Old Testament Scholar John Goldingay.
