Truth and Lies Pondering

I have been pondering about the state of the American church.

• The early church pursued truth because Jesus is truth.
• In America, in the 19th century, the church started pursuing certainty at the expense of truth.
• In America today, the church promotes lies, conspiracy theories, and snake oil.
