Often, their exposure to theologians is limited to those from the <strong>Reformation<\/strong> period. Consequently, their understanding of God remains shallow, and their parishioners receive only a fraction of that depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jennifer Powell McNutt<\/strong> and <strong>David W. McNutt<\/strong> address this gap in their book, <strong>Know the Theologians<\/strong>. This work provides a broad overview of significant theologians and their teachings\u2014from the generation following the <strong>New Testament<\/strong> era to the <strong>21st century<\/strong>. While not delving too deeply into each theologian, the book offers a panoramic understanding of the diverse paths Christianity has taken over the centuries.
